ICE modeling: orientation of copies at curve points

Here’s a simple example that puts a mesh at each point of an arc curve.
The PointReferenceFrame is a 3×3 matrix, so you have to extract the SRT to get the rotation.
I cheated by rotating the original object instead of applying an adjustment in the ICE Tree.

  1. thank you very much!!!
more of this “simple” examples would be so great… actually, thats what lets me always stuck on a point or i give up while crying in my pillow ^^. the “complex” stuff get discussed everywhere and tons of tutorials handle it.
but i was sitting 2 days on a pipeline thing coz of this rotations stuff, freaked out and started hating ICE, since i found this pic 🙂
