Oh, THAT was what Netview was intended for. I always wondered, but it all makes sense now… 😀
It’s another one of those features that could have been a huge asset to Softimage, but was left to languish. With things like Clara.io, Lagoa Render, and all the other “cloud” apps that are coming out, Softimage would have been perfectly positioned to bridge the gap between cloud and desktop. Sigh…
