Pinning Softimage to the Windows 7 task bar

Start Softimage. Right-click the Softimage icon on the task bar, and click Pin this program to taskbar.

In the task bar, right-click the Softimage icon.

In the pop-up menu, right-click the Softimage icon and click Properties.

In the shortcut properties, change the Target from XSI.exe to XSI.bat.

This technique is short and simple. Except I tried changing the icon file for the XSI.bat file, no matter what I do, the icon stays at the fugly Windows Batch icon ?
