I don’t know the Softimage SDK but An ideas has come to mind where you select all the objects in explorer and run a script etc and it would randomly colorize all your objects with a basic color range, excluding pastel colors etc etc.
What’s wrong with Pastel colors?
Nothing,I find them a little hard to see on a gray background in Softimage.
