Something I found the other day: 3ds Max has this Small Annoying Things forum on autodesk.com. It’s kinda neat because you get a certain number of votes, so you can vote for what annoys you most. I assume that Big annoying things are covered in the regular user forums, just like for Softimage.

so when does softimage get its own forum?
Would you like one? People can mention gripes on the XSI list and forums, but maybe having the ability to vote would be a nice extra.
well the xsi list is pretty close to the dev/support teams, probably good enough. its just the voting suggests something will actually be done about popular items, where as the xsi list is just a discussion.

Max has a comparatively large user base, so it’s harder for them to track user feedback on smaller day-to-day stuff.
On the other hand, Softimage is much more involved in the community (lists/forums), so you get that instead of the vote 😉
